A worked example

Denied claim we win at full value$1,415.00
Payer pays $1,415.00, verified on the 835 remittance
Hypex fee: 15% of what you actually received-$212.25
You keep$1,202.75

Partial payments are billed proportionally; takebacks reverse automatically. Every invoice cites the exact remittance line it came from.

The questions everyone asks

What if the payer pays only part of the claim?

Our fee is 15% of what actually arrived. On a partial payment you keep 85% of whatever cleared. We never bill against the unpaid remainder as if it were recovered.

What about takebacks or recoupments?

If a payer takes money back after we were paid on it, that recovery is reversed in our ledger and never billed again. You are never invoiced twice on the same dollar.

Are there seat licenses, minimums, or setup fees?

No. There is no cost unless money lands. No per-user pricing, no onboarding fee, no annual contract.

When is the invoice issued?

Only when the recovery appears on the payer's own 835 remittance advice, the same document your bank credits. The invoice references that remittance line explicitly.

Who pays the invoice?

Your practice or billing company pays Hypex directly after the payer's payment has cleared to your account. We never touch your bank rails.
